Cheri Minnier-Wells is a client-centered psychotherapist who has been in practice since 2000. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Cultural Counseling from Western Washington University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
Much of her career has been working with Native American individuals and families on reservations in northern Arizona. Cheri is honored to have had the opportunity to serve as the Director of Behavioral Health Services at Native Americans for Community Action, Inc., Tribal Liaison at Northern Arizona Regional Behavioral Health Authority, Prevention Counselor at Tuba City Unified School District #1 on the Navajo Nation, and Director of Social Services at St. Anne's Long Term Care Center in Juneau, Alaska. Cheri is a former Adjunct Faculty Member of Northern Arizona University and has taught courses in the M.Ed. Counseling program. She is a former master trainer for 'LivingWorks' Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Professional memberships include the Colorado Counseling Association, Arizona Counseling Association and American Counseling Association.
